Meeting Highlights

During the February 11th meeting we honored Rosie from Rosie's cafe. Since our relocation to Benicia, Rosie's Cafe has been a home away from home for our members. When asked about her cooking, Rosie answered with a smile "...good home cooking,some restaurants use canned gravy...not me I just like the real cooking". Every time our members walk into Rosie's she greets them by name. It's impressive how one person can remember so many names! 
On behalf of  the Ironworkers, we would like to thank you Rosie for your hospitality.



This March marks the one year anniversary of the tragic incident that stunned the whole nation. Four officers from Oakland, CA were shot and killed by alleged gunman Lovelle Mixon of Oakland. One of our members attempted to aid the motorcycle officers who were shot on MacArthur Blvd. On behalf of the Ironworkers we honor Dave "Big Dave" Weathers for his heroic actions.
